Free 90-minute workshop

AI, Honestly

A no-hype workshop for local business owners and professionals.

You have heard AI is going to change everything. You have also heard it makes things up and puts your data at risk. Ninety minutes, plain English, no pressure: what is real, what is not, and where it fits in your work.

Thursday, October 8 · Skokie Public Library · Seating is limited.

What a month of reading about AI looks like

agentic RAG vector databases prompt engineering context windows fine-tuning MCP servers embeddings chain-of-thought open weights quantization temperature settings multimodal token limits RLHF synthetic data semantic search knowledge graphs evals guardrail frameworks AI maturity models digital twins autonomous swarms AGI timelines transformer architecture diffusion models the death of SEO 10x your output the 47 tools you need AI-first strategy prompt libraries few-shot examples GPU clusters hallucination benchmarks AI SDRs agent orchestration fine-tune vs. RAG what it actually is what it gets wrong what's safe to paste in where it saves you time

Four of these are worth ninety minutes of your evening. The rest are somebody else's job. That's the whole workshop.

Before you come

Think you already know what AI can do?

Eight yes-or-no questions about what AI can actually do inside a business like yours. About three minutes. They look easy, and most of the answers surprise people. Take it before the 8th and you'll get more out of the room.

What you'll leave with

Four things, and none of them are a sales pitch.

✓

A plain-English understanding of what AI is, and what it is not.

✓

A clear line between what is safe to put into AI tools and what you should never paste in.

✓

A live look at AI handling real tasks from people in the room.

✓

Your own short list of where AI could actually save you time.

Who it's for

Local business owners and professionals.

You don't need to know anything about AI to come. If you've been meaning to figure this out and haven't had a free evening in months, that's exactly who the room is for. Bring your questions. Bring the task you're tired of doing.

What this isn't

Not a sales pitch. Not a slideshow of tools you'll never open. Not "the future of AI." Ninety minutes, plain English, and you leave knowing more than you walked in with.

FAQ

Questions

Do I need to know anything about AI?

No. This session assumes you know nothing and starts there. If you've never opened one of these tools, you're in the right room.

Is this a sales pitch?

No. It's free, it's ninety minutes, and it's at the library. If you want to talk about working together afterward you're welcome to, but nobody is going to sell you anything from the front of the room.

Do I need to bring a laptop?

Not required. Bring one if you'd like to try something during the live portion. A phone works too, and so does just watching.

Can I bring someone from my team?

Yes, and please do. Just have each person register separately, since seating is limited.

What if I can't make it?

Email me at sebrina@ajorva.com and I'll let you know when the next one is scheduled.
